My discovery and invitation to you
- How do I live more in my preferred, above-the-line space?
- How do I recover more quickly from disconnects, unpleasant, unwanted events?
- How do I create more realness and gratitude with what life is, as it is?
- How will I be in the world, just as it is, with the real power I have in me, with all that I am?

Gutsy Women
In 2001 I decided to follow a new path of travel and adventure to Way of a Warrior in Atlanta, USA. Newly widowed, I was fully confident I could travel half way round the world on my own and create some adventures along the way. I quickly discovered I didn’t need to create adventures, they were there waiting for me.
Contrary to my usual style of organizing everything in advance I made no plans, except my departure flight and enrolment for WOW. I would trust the process, as indeed I had been assured I could. My job was ‘to put it out there’ and see what happened. So during the week-long course I talked to people about where they came from and where they were going, participating as much as possible.
The trouble was I didn’t know what I wanted, definitely out of my comfort zone but happy being there. Being at the camp with about 110 people from all over the world was a huge awakening and definitely a unique opportunity. I remember talking about having to use the word ‘widow’ for the first time to describe my status on the plane. Big lifeshock. Plenty of opportunities to deal with this!
When I arrived in Atlanta, home of Coca-Cola and ‘Gone with the Wind’, my host Bob and kindly made sure I reached my destination and the most extraordinary course began. Led by four very experienced leaders, the whole group work highlighted the different ways people see the same things and how they respond in different ways. Smaller groups and teams gave other chances to live this amazing work we do and are learning about.
My learning from WOW continues today. I didn’t ‘get it’ all at the time but even now I remember something or make a new link with the WOW experience. I want everyone to have that and we can be part of making it happen in New Zealand. Being in another country was very special and the highlight for me. Just think of the people who are going to experience our wonderful country soon, by coming to New Zealand.
I wanted to be with people from the course after it ended to share our experiences and help gel it all before going home. June said, ‘You could come with us. Dorothy and I are going to spend a couple of days getting our thoughts together, Sharing the course with women more or less my own age seemed attractive. By the last day of the course anxiety was setting in. I did not have a bed to go to when I left and I would have luggage as well. Which direction should I head in? ‘Just trust,’ said June. So I did. Our host said we were ‘Gutsy women’ Who? Me? Yeah, I reckon.

Come on Board

We are 430 days away from the commencing the training - this does sound like it's very far in the future! Yet, looking a bit closer, there are dates that you may want to consider, you may even see them as more important for your personal journey towards attending WOW:
28-30 October 2011 - Our next More To Life Weekend will be held at Living Springs, the same venue where WOW-NZ will be held => http://moretolife.org.nz/m2lcalendar.html
31 October 2011 - This is the last day for existing NZ & Australia MTL students to register for WOW at the Early Registration fee. You want to make sure that you've secured your place by sending us your registration and deposit before that day.
Which brings me to the next date:
1 November 2011 - if you selected payment plan 2, your next installment will be due on this day.
This also means that if you want time between registering under the Early Fee and the next installment's being due, you are best to register now!
To register go to the "Registration" page of this blog and follow the steps.
